The founder of the office, since its founding in 2005 as the partner-associate. Ph.D. in Law, graduated of master’s studies at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) and postgraduate studies in industrial property law at the Jagiellonian University. In 1995 – 2011, an academic teacher (Assistant and Associate Professor) at Department of Administrative Law of KUL. He prepared and defended his doctoral thesis in the filed of trade mark law. It was published in the form of a book entitled „Distinctive character of the trade mark” (Lublin 2001). It was the first scientific presentation of this issue in Poland against the background of the new legislation, whose thorough reform was carried out by the binding The Act of 2000 – Industrial Property Law. He was a Sejm expert in the course of legislative work on this law. From 1995, for 16 years, he tried to combine university didactics with the practice. Currently, lectures and other didactic classes lead only as a guest at invitations to prestigious professional and educational institutions. Author of many publications. He speaks English and passively German. He is an advocate in Warsaw. He has also professional titles of European Patent Attorney before European Patent Office and patent attorney in Poland. He remains a member of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys (Warsaw) and the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (Munich). He started his legal practice for business in 1998 as a specialist in intangible assets in well-known companies in the food industry. He is very strongly associated with this industry as a lawyer and patent attorney up to today. He has experience of intensive cooperation in this field, both with small and medium business as well as with large companies, including global corporations. He deals with the affairs of many well-known and famous brands. Over the years, he has worked with many law firms and legal advisors. He also co-created legal teams that dealt with particularly precedented matters. Other legislators use his experience. He is an expert at the team established by the Minister of Justice in 2017 to develop the concept of creating intellectual property courts in Poland. He is a member of the problem committees of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys, namely the Training and Vocational Improvement Commission, as well as the Publishing Commission. He is an judge arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Internet Domains in Warsaw at the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications, and – as a domain judge – at the Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw.
